Allan Lay, Director

Allan Lay was born and raised in the Tulsa, Oklahoma area. He received his education from Oklahoma Christian University in Edmond, OK. and Bear Valley Bible Institute in Denver, CO. He is currently working on his graduate studies at Bear Valley. He met his wife Jeanne while they were both attending the Owasso School of Biblical Studies. Allan worked at Owasso as youth and family minister from 1998 to 2000, when he and Jeanne left to study at Bear Valley to increase their Bible knowledge. He then served as the associate minister at the 29th & Yale congregation in Tulsa before returning to Owasso in 2003. Allan has extensive training in speech communication and background in radio, television and theater. He uses those skills in relaying the Gospel. Allan is a certified instructor for the “Ambassadors for Christ” Bible study system. He conducts youth rallies, gospel meetings, and abstinence training throughout the United States. Allan and Jeanne are the exhausted parents of four toddlers.

Lucian Farrar, Jr.

Lucian has been preaching for over 45 years in Arkansas, Missouri, Kansas, and Oklahoma. He has taught New Testament Greek and other courses here at the Owasso school since 1990. Teaching history and Bible at Greater Tulsa Christian Academy led to his being included in Who’s Who Among America’s Teachers. He is married to the former LuEllen Ousley and they have four children. Lucian current serves as minister for the Lord’s church in Sperry. He is the author of The Victorious Church In the Book of Revelation.

Johnny Hinton

Johnny obeyed the gospel at age 11 and within a year preached his first sermon. Beyond training in the local church, he has degrees from two Christian colleges and has done extra work through a variety of other institutions. Johnny entered full time ministry over 25 years ago. His experience includes Youth and Missions, but mostly Preaching. Brother Hinton also loves to teach. He teaches in the church’s Bible School program as well as conducting personal Bible studies. Johnny has been an adjunct Bible teacher at a Christian university as well as working with four other preacher-training programs. Johnny’s preaching and teaching have taken him into the mission field both domestically and abroad. He conducts gospel meetings and has spoken on several lectureships as well as Youth events. Johnny is one of a handful of certified instructors for the Open Bible Study System (a.k.a., Ivan Stewart’s Personal Evangelism Course). Brother Hinton is also a family man. He and his wife, Cindy, married in 1984. They are the proud parents of five children – one grown son and four daughters still at home.
